Raphaël Gauvain has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2001 and is a former member of Parliament. His practice focuses on litigation, primarily criminal defense, extended to internal investigations and compliance, as well as complex litigation related to corporate life.
Raphaël Gauvain was a Member of Parliament for Saône-et-Loire for the 15th legislature. As a member of the Law Commission, he has been particularly active on issues related to economic sovereignty and the strengthening of corporate competitiveness. He is the author of the bill on the protection of business secrecy (2018), a report to the Prime Minister on issues related to extraterritorial legislation (2019), an information report on the evaluation of the Sapin 2 law (2021), as well as bills on whistleblowers and strengthening the fight against corruption.
Prior to joining the firm, Raphaël Gauvain practiced at a French litigation firm specialized in litigation, of which he was a founding partner.
In 2005, Raphaël Gauvain was First Secretary of the Conférence du Stage. Each year, the Conférence du Stage brings together twelve young lawyers elected by their peers, following a particularly selective oratory competition. They intervene in sensitive criminal cases.
